ABOUT ME AND MY PRACTICE

I grew up in a medical environment as I come from a long line of doctors (going back hundreds of years) and my father continues to practise as a highly respected surgeon.

I qualified as a doctor in China in 2005 after more than ten years of training.

Every part of each condition needs to be considered, that is why I treat the whole body not just one symptom.

I will always explain exactly what the patient will need to know about their condition and give a treatment accordingly.

A consultation before we start involving pulse testing, questionnaires and tongue examination will ensure understanding of the condition.

A treatment could be a combination of acupuncture (fine needles inserted into specific points in the body), acupressure, cupping, Guasha therapy and also herbal medicine may be considered.

Typical conditions treated:

IBS
Pain Relief
Stress
Gynaecological Problems – Infertility
Sinusitis
Weight Loss Addictions

Monica also offers a 15 minute scan to detect Skin Cancer.

Mole SIAScanning Service.

Monica will talk with you in a private consultation room. There will be a short questionnaire to assess your risk factors for skin cancer and a consent form to complete.

You will be asked to identify the mole(s) or pigmented lesion(s) that you would like scanned – please note, Monica cannot advise you on this.

Then a scan of the mole(s) or pigmented lesion(s) will be taken using the MedX SIAscope

The images and information will then be sent securely to a one of our consultant Dermatology Specialists for analysis.

The consultation will last about 15 minutes.
