Want to know more about canine nutrition?

September 4, 2019

Michael Bennett will be holding a workshop with us to raise awareness about our canine companions and the food that they're eating.  He will show owners how not just to read labels but to understand them and calculate important figures that will effect their dogs nutritonally.

By the end of the workshop you'll know what corporations own the Pet Food Giants, you'll know marketing buzzwords (Organic for example) to watch out for, understand more about additives and preservatives in relation to the role they play in pet foods and you'll know the carbohydrate contents of dry foods. (not labelled as there's no legal requirement).

He will also be showing people what ingredients to avoid and reasons as to why "Animal Derivatives" for example.

You willl also see generic breed factors that are food related, but so common it's believed to be a natural part of the breed. (Tear Stains on Bulldogs for example).

Included will be case studies where a change of diet has been made and dogs have improved significantly.

Each attendee will also get a hard copy of the workshop so you can refer to it at a later date, as it will be a lot to take in, you'll also receive 50% (equivalent of up to £60) off vouchers for Michael's services should you wish to sign up to a support package going forward.  You will also be provided  with the Nutrient Requirements for your dogs as set by the National Research Council, along with calorie requirements.

Michael will also be highlighting the importance of Incorporating fresh foods to the bowl (not table scraps) and guarantees it will be an educational day for all who attend, and will no doubt want to come to another workshop to find out more.

Each attendee will instantly begin to shop smarter and add fresh foods to the bowl as a result and that is the end goal! :)

This workshop will be held on Saturday 21st September 2019 from 1.00pm - 3.00pm with Michael K A Bennett-BCCSDIP.HthNut.

Tickets: Advance £10, on the door £15.   https://www.facebook.com/events/517273242426231/
